Numerous school organizations are coming together to host this exciting Halloween celebration for families across the community. The event is on Friday, October 31st, from 6–9 p.m. at the Greene County Tech Elementary School Gymnasium (5203 W Kingshighway, Paragould, AR 72450). The Pay it Forward Club will be collecting bags of candy as well as any other Halloween themed party favors for the upcoming Trunk or Treat event sponsored by JROTC. This event will take place on Oct. 31st so we will be collecting these items through mid-October. Other than candy, please consider donating pencils, stickers, silly jewelry like spider rings or glow in the dark things, anything that a kid might enjoy. Other than candy, please consider donating pencils, stickers, silly jewelry like spider rings or glow in the dark things, anything that a kid might enjoy. Fields of Faith is next Wednesday, October 15th at the GCT Football Field. Tail gating starts at 5pm on the hill above the field with free food. The rally is also free and starts at 6:30pm. It should be over by around 8pm. Everyone is invited!

The Red Cross Blood Drive will be Wednesday October 22nd, located in the practice gym. Blood can ONLY be given by students 16 and above. To sign up for a time slot, please visit the JROTC located down Tradition hall in Room 603.
Any student wanting to take the ASVAB test on October 28th can sign up in the Counselor's office or ROTC room.
October 29th will be a make-up photo day for students(10th and 11th) and staff!
Troupe 7614 of the International Thespian Society will be hosting Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat every Thursday and Friday in October! Bring non-perishable food items to our booth in the Grand Hall before school and receive a special treat! All items will benefit the Little Pantry or the Backpack Program.
The Pay it Forward Club will be collecting bags of candy as well as any other Halloween themed party favors for the upcoming Trunk or Treat event sponsored by JROTC. This event will take place on Oct. 31st so we will be collecting these items through mid-October. Other than candy, please consider donating pencils, stickers, silly jewelry like spider rings or glow in the dark things, anything that a kid might enjoy. Please drop off your items to Mr. Blake or Mrs. Niki at any time.
There will be a Tech vs Paragould Powder Buff game. This will be a volleyball game played by the males in grades 9th-12th. This will take place at Tech on Monday, November 3rd. There will be two teams. The first is a varsity team, which consists of 11th and 12th graders. The second is a junior varsity team, which consists of 9th and 10th graders. There will be a $10 fee to cover the cost of the t-shirt. I have attached a Google Form for those that are interested to fill out and submit. These forms need to be submitted no later than Friday, October 10th.

Students, You have 48 hours to turn in your parent note, Dr. note. etc. After 48 hours, the absence will be unexcused. It is your responsibility to check to make sure your Dr. office faxed us your note. You can check your attendance in HAC.
SENIOR INFORMATION
Seniors, there is a form on the Senior Google Classroom where you can make suggestions for the senior class flower, color, motto, and song. If you have suggestions, please complete the form by October 10.
Also in the Senior Google Classroom you will find forms to complete for your Senior Memories and Pass the Torch for the yearbook. These are both due October 15.
