Last week, the Greene County Tech Band hosted a color guard and drum major camp called iMPACT. Twelve schools, 110 guard students and 17 students attended. The color guard students learned flag and dance fundamentals and different flag routines. The drum major students learned conducting fundamentals, leadership skills and different conducting routines. Thank you Mrs. Ali Gage for putting on such a wonderful camp for our Northeast Arkansas schools!

Law enforcement had a report today that a suspect was in the vicinity of GCTHS. The HS was put in a soft lockdown (no one was allowed in or out of the building). We had over 12 law enforcement officers securing the perimeter of campus. Later, the report was found to be incorrect.
I can't say a big enough Thank You to the GCT Primary staff for the incredible Senior Walk this morning. What a great experience you created for our students and their families. You helped make great memories for all of us today.
