Congratulations to Thompson Phelps on a Top 10 qualifying performance today at the Arkansas Auctioneers Association State Convention. Thompson will compete in the 2025 1st Annual Arkansas FFA Auction State Contest during the Arkansas State FFA Convention April 21, 2025.
Thompson has traveled many miles, worked very hard and has been mentored and taught by world renown Auctioneers. Arkansas Auctioneers Association workshop/contest in Little Rock, Northwest Arkansas Auction CDE workshop in Tontitown, Oklahoma Auctioneers Association workshop/contest in Kellyville, OK.

Thursday, January 30: Update on Community Stops:
Buses 9 (Beaver), 26 (Butterfly), 28 (Bird), and 33 (Cow) will need to be picked up at Lake Street Baptist Church at 3:40 p.m.
Bus 15 (Shark): Students that live on gravel will need to meet at Homeplace Furniture at 3:40 p.m.
Bus 16 (Grasshopper): Students who live on gravel will need to meet the bus at the intersection of your gravel road and Hwy 69 at 3:40 p.m.
If a bus comes to an area they do not feel is safe to cross, they will try to re-route. If they cannot, we will send out information about where to pick up you child through social media or by phone.
GCTSD will be using some community bus stops this afternoon due to flooding. Please be watching for further communication regarding the buses that will be impacted.
We understand that parents may need to check out their child early today due to flooding/safety concerns.

There will be a volleyball game played by the males in grades 9th-12th. This will take place in the Paragould High School Gym on Monday, February 24th. There will be two teams. The first is a varsity team, which consists of 11th and 12th graders. The second is a junior varsity team, which consists of 9th and 10th graders. The team captain for the varsity team is Ian Vasquez, and the team captain for the junior varsity team is Gavin Cupp. There will be a $10 fee to cover the cost of the t-shirt. I have attached a Google Form for those that are interested to fill out and submit. These forms need to be submitted no later than Friday, January 24th.

Application & Payment Deadline is Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at noon. No exceptions. Entries will not be accepted at the door. Applications are in the office.
