Eagle Family, It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I share this news with you. Two of our students, Caleb Sparks- 12 grade, and Braiden Sessums- 11th grade, tragically lost their lives in a traffic accident Friday morning. Please keep their family members and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
After a tragic event, it is important for students to talk and share their feelings with others. To help students with this process, we will have extra counselors at school on Monday. Anyone who wishes to come to school to speak with a counselor will be welcome.

The GCTHS Chamber Singers sang holiday carols for the Paragould community during their annual day of service.

The GCT High School Staff wants to say Thank You to Craighead Electric for their generous donation. Mandy Goodman and Nathan Stewart stopped by this week and donated $500 to GCT. The money will be used to purchase needed items for our students.
Thank you Craighead Electric!

The Choir will present their Winter Concert Thursday, December 7th at 7:00pm.

The GCT Art Department is hosting a Christmas Paint Party. These events are really popular and fill up fast, see the attached flier from more details. You can email Jordan Blake at jordan.blake@gctschools.net to sign-up.

Mrs. Dial's students performed their One Act Play, Our Place, to the student body today.
Based on the student's reactions, I think they liked it. I know that I did. The students will perform for the public tonight beginning at 6:00 pm in the HS Auditorium.

Mrs. Baine's students had fun acting out the last scene in King Lear today. I am thankful for Mrs. Baine and our other teachers who find fun and creative ways to teach our students.
