Parents, I want to bring your attention to an organization that has contacted some of our parents. The organization is called the National Society of High School Scholars. They are contacting students and telling them they have qualified as a member of thier honor society. Then they inform you that for $90, you can purchase a lifetime membership. Please do not confuse this with GCT's National Honor Society. This is an independant organization. They also inform students that they can receive an honor cord and medallions to wear at graduation. I want you to know that GCT does not allow students to wear any cords or medallions that are not earned here at GCT. If you purchase a medallion or cord from this organization, you will not be allowed to wear it at graduation.
The GCT Choir hosted an Alumni Day Saturday. Everyone enjoyed singing together and sharing memories of their time in the GCT Choir.
Congratulations to our new National Honor Society members at GCT.
Mr. Blake's Pay It Forward club made friendship bracelets at their last meeting. They plan to pass them out to other students. What a great way to spread kindness in our school.
