Students are not allowed to decorate their gowns or caps to make them stand out in the crowd. If you attempt to decorate your cap or gown, you will be given a plain one to wear as a substitute. Remember, graduation is a formal occasion and your behavior should be appropriate for the special event honoring you and your families that worked so hard to see you achieve this. Graduation at 1st National Bank Arena Information: --We will begin graduation promptly at 7:00 P.M. --If you have someone in your party that needs handicap seating, you will need to find an usher when you arrive. They will get you set up. All handicap seating will be in the four corners of the arena. --All guests, faculty, and graduates will enter the building through metal detectors. --First National Bank Arena has a Clear bag policy (https://www.fnbarena.com/news/clear-bag-policy) , so all bags must be clear and will be checked. If the bag is not clear, you will not be allowed to bring it in. So it may take a little longer than normal to get into the 1st National Bank Arena tomorrow night. You may want to plan to arrive a little earlier than normal in case lines get backed up. --No flowers, balloons or gift bags will be allowed into the Arena. --The upper Red and Yellow entrance will be open at 5:00 pm for parents and guests to enter. --No one is allowed on the floor other than graduates and school faculty/staff. Family and friends cannot go onto the arena floor. This includes prior to graduation and after graduation. ****Meeting Family after the Ceremony*** Graduates, Make arrangements where to meet your family members after the ceremony prior to graduation. Some convenient meeting points are: Inside at the Upper Red Entrance, or Inside at the Upper Yellow Entrance. Outside at the lower Red Entrance CAUTION---ONCE YOU GO OUTSIDE YOU CAN NOT COME BACK IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! --***DO NOT*** go outside until you are absolutely sure your family members are outside or you have planned to meet them outside.

We want to say a big Thank You to the GCT Ag department. They donated flowers to be planted around campus at the High School this week. Another big Thank You to our students in the Rotary Interact club for planning them for us.

GCT student Maggie Cole taught a painting class for Mrs. Hudson's class. Students were able to use acrylic paints, learned how to take care of paint brushes, blend colors, and art terms such as gradient. Maggie plans to be an art teacher. Special thanks to Mrs. Shelli Boone.

Sr Parents, if your child has not accepted the Arkansas Challenge Scholarship yet, their names will not be announced tomorrow at Sr Honors Day. They will have until 7:30 am tomorrow to accept the scholarship. They have an email informing them that they have not accepted it yet.

The Senior Walk is such an awesome event. Seeing the faces of our Seniors as they walk the Primary hallways is priceless. Thank you to Mrs Clark, her staff, and the Sr parents for their work to make this happen.

Congratulations to the GCT AFJROTC for earing the Distinguished Unit Award and the Silver Star Community Service with Excellence Award. This is a tremendous honor for our Cadets, Sgt. Burlingame and Sgt. Williams. Only 45 Units in the country earned the Silver Star Award.
