GCTSD will use modified bus routes this afternoon. Please see attached information and note the time to pick up your student at the designated stop if your student is on a modified bus route.

Save the Date for GCT Primary Literacy Night!

GCTSD will be in session Monday, January 13th, with modified morning bus routes. Please see attachment. We will evaluate these routes tomorrow to determine if the afternoon bus routes will also be modified and send out that communication as soon as we make a determination. Be on the lookout in the morning for icy patches from potential refreezing.

Mrs. Miller's class is beginning to learn about Number Bonds... 1st steps: Understanding Part and Whole...Partner work always makes math more fun!









Mrs. Hanna Maxwell's class researched animals, then used the writing process to write animal reports!



GCTSD will be closed Friday, January 10th, due to inclement weather conditions. This day is built into the calendar and will not need to be made up. Be safe and enjoy the snow.
Ms. Kayle, Mrs. Holly, & Mrs. Leslie’s classes had SNOW ❄️ much fun! We had snow, snow ball fights, ice skating ⛸️, snow angels, snow dances, & building a snowman ☃️

Mrs. Hurt's class enjoyed a science experiment about volcanos.






Greene County Tech Primary is looking for a long term substitute for a 5-6 week position. This position will be a half day position. Interested candidates must hold a Bachelors Degree. If you are interested in this position, please contact GCT Primary at 870-236-6439 and ask to speak to an administrator.
We talked about how snowflakes are made and how each are unique for our winter knowledge unit. Then made our own and compared them to each others!





Mrs. Brinkley's class had chips and drew with chalk to review the ch digraph we learned this morning.
