HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR
- Greene County Tech High School
The GCT Choir has a long tradition of excellence and competitiveness. The choirs perform various concerts throughout the year that incorporate many different types and styles of music. There are also opportunities for group and solo competition. Each year we have several students compete and earn places in the All-Region and All-State Choirs. The Senior High Choirs have made it to State Competition sixteen years in a row. The Chamber Singers won the 2007 Ensemble Best in Class 5A State Championship and the Female choir won the 2009 Best in Class Female Chorus 5A State Championship and the Male Ensemble won the 2010 and 2011 Ensemble 5A State Championships, all three groups won the State Championships in 2014 and these groups have been state runner-ups numerous times. The Chamber Singers, Male Ensemble and Female Chorus are each competing again for the 2015 State Title on April 16th. You can see that the GCT Choir is definitely a winning team of dedicated students.
